I find it interesting that in the midst of my ranting about Billy Joel, I discover that he is about to release a truly unique collection of B-sides and rarities. And its actually more than that. He seems to include a lot of studio album tracks as well, suggesting that he is looking to present an "alternative" history of his music. He is drawing attention for the first time to some of the great, more obscure songs he has recoreded as well as including a lot of rare and never before released stuff. It sounds very interesting for someone like me who hasnt had new Billy Joel music (pop music anyway) in over a decade. I look forward with interest.
